This is not a detailed listing of methods used for interacting with the software from within your game. This includes the Steam controller and all third party devices supported by the system. The haptic feedback is pretty well done and really helps the feel of the trackpads. ~ As cool as they are, the trackpads aren't as good as an analog/d-pad, but can work as either good enough, and are a nice option on their own. + Actually a really decent option if you have space constraints (ie on a train) or are far away from your computer and want to avoid using the laptop's trackpad or a wireless keyboard. + Uses easily replaceable AA batteries for wireless play, and they last for a long time. Also, BE CAREFUL when inserting the dongle into the little extension stand they give you, it will be hell to pull out the first time. + No noticeable difference between wired and wireless play, although the dongle seems to easily lose signal if objects are in between itself and the controller. A large LCD displays the current status and operating temperatures. The control determines the on time of the boiler or valve based on the measured outdoor temperature and settings entered by the installer. The dual-stage triggers, back paddles and trackpads add some, in my opinion, much needed breathing room in control customization. Steam Control 279 The tekmar Steam Control 279 can operate a single on-off steam boiler or an on-off steam valve using outdoor reset. + Very flexible customization options for controls via official and third-party software (such as sc-controller). You’ll be able to pick up this controller and start playing most titles without having to learn a new setup.
